Complete refurbishment of cranes normally include repairs of crane structures, mechanisms, hydraulic and electrical systems.
You may have well-used equipment that has been used for years or you may have well-worn equipment that has been sitting idle for longer in the harsh offshore environment. This older equipment may appear to be at the end of its lifecycle, but refurbishment can significantly extend the useful life of a crane and is often the preferred alternative to new equipment purchases. Continued use of existing equipment also eliminates costs associated with operation training and service training on new systems. In most cases refurbishment programs can save 40-60% over the cost of new equipment.
